🌹 Just water the mustard seed 🌹

Luke 13:18-19

[18]Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?

19]It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

Parables were one of the means by which Jesus in his earthly ministry communicated kingdom principles and systems to his disciples and audience. What then are parables?🤔. A parable is a short story illustrating lessons. Now let's delve into the context of the above text. A mustard seed happens to be one of the smallest seed in the garden. A new farmer who does not know it relevance may ignore it because of it being relatively small but trust me no experienced farmer will ignore it or throw it away because he or she knows that when it is planted and watered well today it will end up becoming one of the greatest tree in the garden, serving several benefits. Like the life of mustard seed, many people have ignored their gifts, potentials, abilities, leaderships traits and other powerful things God has placed in them. Instead of giving them attention and watering them today for it to become relevant tomorrow, they end up giving their time, energy, strength and resources to unnecessary things. Beloved I beseech you to just pay much attention to that little gift God has placed in you which in one way or the other people see it to be irrelevant today. All you need to do is to add some spices to it today for it to become relevant tomorrow. Paul the Apostle told his son Timothy, not to neglect the gift of God in him( 1 Timothy 4:14). Why?  because his relevance is embedded in his gift. The gift (seed) you water today is the fruits you will enjoy tomorrow. Like the mustard seed, you may not be recognized today as a genius but continue to water your gifts and talents daily, you will be recognized tomorrow. Like Joseph, the same people who despise you today will serve you and draw from you tomorrow. Just water the mustard see

May the Lord, give increase and abundance to every mustard seed you're planting today
